Sunday: bottomless margaritas and brunch at Cantina Agave, drinks at Dr. Beer, happy hour at Shanghai Brewery and then dinner with Leo and Nick oh gee I wonder how we got so drunk hmm

Monday: woke up STILL DRUNK, worked until 6-ish, then raced home to pack and catch a train to Nanjing at 9p, got in close to 11p, beer pong until 4a at Thom’s

Tuesday: late lunch at Blue Sky, explored Xuanwu Lake and the park around it, dinner and pub quiz at Jimmy’s, went to bed around 2a

Wednesday: got up at 9a for a nonexistent Skype meeting, caught a train back to Shanghai at noon hahaha Shanghai Noon omg shut up Alex, went to the Shanghai Strawberry Music Festival, had dinner at the Cool Docks (tried a place called Top Choice?), went home and passed the fuck out around 11p

Thursday (today): WHY AM I BACK AT WORK I CAN’T FOCUS ON ANYTHING BWAHHHH okay I guess I’ll just upload all the pictures from my phone and surf Tumblr and oh goddammit I have a meeting in twelve minutes

What is the most comforting place, smell, and sound to you?
Place, probably cuddled up to Josh in bed. Smell, probably also Josh (when he’s been wearing cologne, or at least deodorant, haha). Sound? My best friends’ laughs. Or steady rain, when I’m warm indoors.

Are you wearing a bracelet?
Two silver bracelets, a beaded one with a snake charm that says 福, another bangle that has a Sanskrit mantra on it.

Have you ever been in love? If yes, how many times, and how do you know it was love?
Yes, twice. Maybe two and a half times, haha. I don’t know, maybe it’s cheesy, but I guess when you know, you know.

What is the longest relationship you’ve ever been in, and why did it end?
I’m still in it. Depending on how you want to count it, we’re either at just over two years or going on four, haha.

What were your ambitions as a child and what are your ambitions now?
To become a pediatrician, to get married around 26, and to have kids around 28 (yeah, I knew nothing about “residency” or “fellowships”); now, to get my masters, to live abroad for a significant amount of time (going on six months in Shanghai!), and still to eventually get married. I’m not so sure about kids anymore.
